Jennifer Muniz

ABOUT JENNIFER

Jennifer Muniz, founder of Ascend Personal Training, is a nationally certified personal trainer, specializing in strength training, injury prevention and recovery, weight loss, and pre and post natal training.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Siena College, and 2 years of acting conservatory training at Maggie Flanigan Studio, Jennifer is well versed in both the mental and physical components that comprise fitness and longevity. She will create a believer out of anybody, and she loves doing this most of all!

Established in 2016, Ascend Personal Training has set out on a mission to lead our clients on a path of healthy and lasting lifestyle changes. We work with a variety of people of all ages and abilities. We appreciate that everyone who comes to training does so from a different starting point, and meeting people where they currently are is how we have been so successful.

At Ascend Personal Training, we believe that everyone deserves the ability to live their fittest lives. Taking a true holistic and longevity based approach, we design our programming specifically for your individual goals. Not sure of your goals? We’ll help you find them.

We begin every client relationship with an in depth fitness assessment, as we fully recognize that each person comes to training with a different background, exercise and injury history, and goal trajectory.

We pride ourselves in providing educational instruction, ensuring our clients understand the importance of each movement.

We believe in movement science, not in what looks “cool” or “trendy” on social media. We love having fun with our clients, and while our sessions are instructionally based, we guarantee you will enjoy each workout!

We go beyond what is typically expected from a trainer/client relationship. We value the “personal” in personal trainer above all, and we are our clients’ biggest fans. We will always invest in you, and guide you to be consistent, even when life throws you every possible curveball.

Our goal is to deliver more than strength gains, increasing your knowledge of fitness as well. We believe in uncovering your “WHY”, so that you will have a better chance of being successful for the long haul.
