An Attitude of Gratitude

Another year is coming to a close, and what better time than Thanksgiving, to pause and give thanks for all we’ve achieved over the last year?

I challenge you, as you’re reading this, to think of three things from 2024 that you’re grateful for. They can be related to anything, but for our sake, let’s try to keep them on the fitness end.

Did you get stronger? Did you consistently work out every week? Did you join a gym?

Think of three things, maybe write them down, or even better, share them with me!

In the spirit of giving thanks and in full disclosure, I’ll list my three here:

  • I consistently worked out 4 days a week while taking care of a new baby, and managed to (mostly) keep my sanity while doing so, though my husband might (strongly) disagree with the latter part of this statement
  • I made a conscious effort to stretch weekly
  • I ran a 5K with my sister

I hope you can easily think of three (or more!) and I encourage you to share one with me! To take it one step further, reach out to someone today, and share why you’re grateful that person is in your life. Hopefully we can get a little pay it forward thing going, and at the very least, you might just make someone’s day 🙂

I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends!
